Counting down to the Goodwood Festival of Speed

05/7/2018

Taking place at Goodwood House in Sussex, from Thursday 12 to Sunday 15 July 2018, the Goodwood Festival of Speed is an annual celebration of motoring. This year Porsche will take centre stage, as the featured marque for the third time, to celebrate 70 years of Porsche.

One of the highlights of this year’s festival is a moving display of iconic Porsche models which have shaped our history over the last seven decades, from racing royalty to engineering innovators.

The Porsche Experience Centre will once again showcase the very latest in technical innovation and design across the full Porsche model range and guests will be able to immerse themselves in the world of Porsche through interactive exhibits on the stand, including the hugely popular Cayenne Driving Experience. Our Porsche Driver’s Selection shop will also provide the opportunity for guests to take a piece of Porsche design home with them.

As well as the Porsche Experience Centre, a collection of Porsche legends will take on the infamous Goodwood Hillclimb – including the very first car ever built by Porsche, the 1948 356 No.1, and the latest star in Porsche motorsport history, the 919 Hybrid LMP1 race car, three-time Le Mans Champion and winner of the 2017 FIA World Endurance Championship.

The Porsche sculpture, by Gerry Judah, will also be unveiled at the festival, in its prime location in front of Goodwood House, a must see for any Porsche enthusiast.
